They say ignorance is bliss because once you know about the prognosis, you can’t go back. Will you be strong or will you fall apart? It's hard to predict so don’t worry about it. Enjoy the time you have before the news comes.

There is never a right time for anything, that is something I have learned in the past couple weeks. No matter what it is, bad news will always be like a knife in your chest, and it will hurt, but I will give, until it hurts even more, and then I will give some more.

This piece is dedicated to a very dear friend of mine who has been my rock for over a decade.
I hope you will rest in peace, and don't forget that you will be missed.
